Amaurosis fugax
Definition

Amaurosis fugax = transient (short-lived and temporary), painless, monocular loss of vision

patients often describe 'a curtain coming down' over the vision in the affected eye ​

patients may often be unsure whether one eye is affected, or whether a homonymous hemianopia was experienced
