malignant tumours can be life-threatening and require rapid recognition and treatment

In general, concerning features include ulceration, enlarging lesions, distortion of the eyelid margin, and loss of lashes

Malignant tumours must be removed with a suitable margin of excision of healthy surrounding tissue
